The service
NIGHT SHINE is a mobile car wash membership based in Encino, CA. We do a waterless exterior wipe-down, clean your wheels and apply tire shine, where your car is parked, on the schedule of the plan you choose (see Membership plans below). It is exterior only.
Membership plans
Membership plans. You pick one plan at checkout:
- Night 4x: a wash every week on your wash night. $99/month for a car or $119/month for a bigger vehicle; each extra household vehicle is $50/$60.
- Night 2x: a wash every other week (weeks 1 and 3, or 2 and 4) on your wash night. $59/month for a car or $69/month for a bigger vehicle; each extra household vehicle is $25/$30.
- Day Service: a wash between 10 AM and 5 PM on your assigned weekday (Monday to Thursday). $119/month for a car or $139/month for a bigger vehicle; each extra household vehicle is $50/$60.
Prices are what your checkout shows. Plans renew monthly until you cancel.
Service authorization
Service authorization. By joining, you authorize NIGHT SHINE and its crew to wash the vehicle(s) on your membership at the service address you gave us, during your plan's service window, including overnight for Night plans. You confirm that you own each vehicle or are allowed to authorize its care, and that the crew may access where it's parked. If it's parked in a private lot, garage, or HOA or apartment property, you're responsible for getting any permission needed. If we can't safely or lawfully reach the vehicle, we may skip that wash. Keep your plate and address current so our crew can show authorization if asked.
What's included
NIGHT SHINE is a maintenance exterior wash: waterless wipe-down, wheels and tire shine. It is not a detail. We don't remove heavy mud, tar, sap, bird-drop etching, scratches or swirl marks, and we don't clean interiors. Results depend on your car's starting condition.
Completion tag
After each wash, we may hang a small removable tag on your side mirror showing the service date and NIGHT SHINE's name and contact info. It uses no adhesive on paint or glass, and you can toss it. You agree to receive the completion tag as part of your membership.
Wash night or service day changes
We may change your scheduled wash night or service day (for Night plans and Day Service) to keep our routes efficient. We'll tell you at least 7 days ahead by email, and your monthly price won't change. If the new wash night or service day doesn't work for you, you can ask for a different one or cancel anytime with no penalty.
Founding member rate
Founding member rate. If you join as one of our founding members, your monthly price stays the same for as long as your membership stays active without a break. If you cancel and later rejoin, the prices then in effect apply.
Auto-renewal & cancellation
Your membership renews automatically every month at your monthly price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime online at Manage, cancel or update payment (the Stripe billing page) or by emailing carwipedown@gmail.com. There is no signup fee, and your membership ends at the end of the current billing period.
Skipped visits
- Dirty cars: Waterless wipe-downs are for regular upkeep, not heavy mud. Substantially dirty cars are skipped that week or get a windows-only clean, depending on severity.
- Car not in its usual spot: That week's visit is skipped and we'll wash it on your next scheduled visit for your plan.
- Location updates: If you park somewhere new, email us the new location at carwipedown@gmail.com with the subject “Update my car location”.
Privacy
We use your contact info to run your membership and to email you about NIGHT SHINE if you opt in. We don't sell your personal information.
